I've got a RAT 7 and was thinking about also buying an ESEE 6. Does anyone know if the blade profile are close enough that I can swap the sheaths on these?

No the rat 7 is too long for the esee6 sheath. You can put the 6 in the 7 sheath though. Although the esee sheaths are far better than the nylon that comes with the rat7.
