ESEE-6 Sheath Clip Plate

I was thinking of getting the clip plate for the sheath of my ESEE-6 because I want to put the knife on my belt, but just wanted to ask the people that own one and have used one whether or not the clip plate is worth the $20 price tag. Does it attach to your belt securely or just kind of loosely giving you the impression it may fall off?
 
It "locks" on the bottom with a piece jutting out to prevent movement and accidental loss, you clip it on and have to get it off with both hands. I wear a 1.5 to 2 inch wide belt and it locks on perfectly.
