Hello All,

I have just about every Esee knife made. Many have the Drop Leg extender as described in the papers. What is this for? I have found no such pictures on the web and curious how this is supposed to be used. I have a short torso so a drop in the knife position riding off my belt is welcome.

Thks, TD

You run a strap through the plastic rectangle piece and attach it to the top of sheath. If it's a big knife you may want to mod up a strap to go around your leg. Stops the flop! Hope this helped.

2 advantages for an extender are:
1. If you're wearing a pack with a waist belt you're able to wear the knife on your primary belt down below and out of the way of your pack belt.
2. It places the handle lower on your body making drawing or accessing the knife easier.
