Esee edc

I'm looking at the ESEE 4 or 5 for EDC, but with the belt clip it looks like it rides pretty high. Do you know if the handle digs into the car seat when carrying like this?

It would depend on the person and the car. The ESEE 5 is a .25" thick 5" bladed beast, I don't think you're gonna want to EDC that thing. It might not even be legal, at least not concealed. Even the ESEE 4 has a 4.5" blade so a lot of places would require that to be openly carried too. The ESEE 3 is much more in line with an EDC knife.

Agreeing with the ESEE 3. Have you considered a Tek-Lok and horizontal carry? What are your EDC tasks, that you want to EDC such a blade? I mean do what ever you want, but it wont be comfortable, no matter how you carry it. Except maybe on a gunbelt + horizontal carry. You could get a piece of wood and cut it to specs. You'll see whether and how you wanna carry it.
