Here it is. Final details!

March 11-14
New Waverly, TX

Fees are 10.00 a night per site (to be paid at the campground to the campground).

Visitors may choose from 30 campsites that can accommodate campers or recreation vehicles up to 20 feet long. Nestled among pines and hardwoods, the sites have tent pads, picnic tables, barbecue grills and lantern posts. Drinking water, showers and toilet facilities are also available, as is a large picnic shelter.

Stubblefield Lake is home to a variety of fish including largemouth bass, crappie, bluegill and catfish. The calm waters of the oxbow lake invite canoeists, and just five miles downstream lies Lake Conroe.

Everything is bring your own. If you intend on flying in from out of town contact me and I will get you hooked up with any gear you are unable to bring with you. I will also find you transportation to and from the airport.

Saturday March 13 we will have a communal dinner. We each make something good and share it with everyone else. Drinks will be had around the fire and it's suggested kids not hang at the fire at night. Conversations can get pretty adult in content.

Everyone is responsible for themselves and the people you bring with you and NO ONE will/can be held liable for the saftey of anyone except the people they brought with them.

Sure be like that.... hold it half across the planet from me. :(

Sigh.... maybe next year.

Well that sounds fun. Too bad California is far away and college is a money drain. Have fun though. :D

Yea, I guess it was lower than the shin huh...... well, his shins will be safe at least.

and he wanted me to bring my pair of Wetterlings axes  Mrs.S better bring a bigger FAK,and I'll save some Hydrocodone pills for him instead of the 800m. mortrins :D

I was going to ask him to stand in 2 home depot 5 gallon buckets before chopping on dead wood.Bright bucket to warn little kids to stay away from and to glance blows away from limbs

I wish Wifey and Son and I could make it down there, I'd love to get a cauldron of shrimp and/or crawdad Étouffée and some boudin on the side going on. Or, for something totally different, Sauerbraten and tater dumplings and sauerkraut, pig and taters and kartoffel suppe - pumpernikel!!! :D

dang it Don!
you keep talkin' food like that and I may have to sell a kidney to make sure I can get there!

not yet - you willing to try and organize one? :)
this fest is 40 miles from the shotty's - that's why they have it there.
