Here it is. Final details!
March 11-14
New Waverly, TX
Fees are 10.00 a night per site (to be paid at the campground to the campground).
Visitors may choose from 30 campsites that can accommodate campers or recreation vehicles up to 20 feet long. Nestled among pines and hardwoods, the sites have tent pads, picnic tables, barbecue grills and lantern posts. Drinking water, showers and toilet facilities are also available, as is a large picnic shelter.
Stubblefield Lake is home to a variety of fish including largemouth bass, crappie, bluegill and catfish. The calm waters of the oxbow lake invite canoeists, and just five miles downstream lies Lake Conroe.
Everything is bring your own. If you intend on flying in from out of town contact me and I will get you hooked up with any gear you are unable to bring with you. I will also find you transportation to and from the airport.
Saturday March 13 we will have a communal dinner. We each make something good and share it with everyone else. Drinks will be had around the fire and it's suggested kids not hang at the fire at night. Conversations can get pretty adult in content.
Everyone is responsible for themselves and the people you bring with you and NO ONE will/can be held liable for the saftey of anyone except the people they brought with them.
