So I'm pretty close to pulling the trigger on the esee 6. I like the dave Canterbury esee but it maybe another year out and I don't really see it actually functioning better then the esee 6. A specific website sells knife blanks and g10 Handles for the 6 for the same price as the micarta but you don't get a sheath. Are the g10 handles really that much better than the micarta? I'm looking to hear from those who have the g10 on the esee knives. My understanding is the g10 has sort of a swell to it while the micarta is plane flat. Thanks in advance for any input.

I have an Esee 5 with a 'custom' g10 handle of that 'specific' site :)
i don't have an Esee with original handle, but i do own an Ontario RBS4 with a handle in Micarta that is probably the same as the standard Esee handles in Micarta.
The contoured handle of the Esee is indeed a lot easier on the hands then the square Micarta one.
