When was the HEST discontinued?
Will there ever be another run of the fixed-blade HEST?
I really want to buy another HEST but they aren't available anymore :(
Anybody got any idea?
 
They are still alot around, u may wanna check the DPX Gear forums or the exchange i see a few of them weekly. Check out the Izula if your looking for EDC or ESEE 5 if your looking for something a bit more heavy duty love my HEST but IMO one is plenty unless your tryin to fill a few BOBs.
 
You can still get them if you look around enough. I've seen them in-stock here and there. Knifeworks.com says they'll have them in-stock on the 18th.
 
I believe Howes Knife Shop has some HEST fixed blades in stock. Check them out, good guy to deal with.
 
They can be found... last time I checked The-Knife-Connection.com had some in stock.
They were on sale too!

Try posting a "Want to Buy" thread... someone may want to get rid of theirs.
 
There are lots of places with them still in stock, you just have to look around. Ebay has some I'm sure.

I think that they will re-produce them when the DPx gets done producing the folders they are working on.
 
There are plans for a Hest II Fixed in the works but no specs...RYP made mention in the DPx/Hest Forum awhile back

I've seen the HEST fixed on ebay last week but the dealers right now are all dried up

They're out there but you gotta dig to find em
 
I'd be interested in one with a longer blade, say 3.75-4.5 inches, for a larger EDC.
I'm not so sure I'm pursuing purchase of another HEST, after thinking on it and how much I carry my current one. It damn near never leaves my side, after all.
 
I bought mine a few weeks ago from Dave's Knife World. I think they still have a few.
