I've had a couple of Izulas and I like them well enough, but something a little bit bigger would be nice. Blade would need to be under 3" and I would prefer a more stainless steel that is satin or uncoated if possible. As far as the Izula goes, I can't remember if the sheath will accept a teklok, but that would be a huge plus of any alternative. Thanks in advance for any info or assistance!!!

Blind Horse Knives makes some great little fixed blades, pretty sure some of them are d2 which is pretty stainless

Yeah another vote for the WM1. The sheath isnt Tek-Lok compatible though.

Theres the Bark River Bravo Necker. Stainless and partially coated. Check it out.

Haven't looked at Blind Horse yet but I'll check them out. As far as the Fallkniven goes it's a nice knife but I'm looking for something skeletonized (no handle slabs) for this purchase. Thanks for the info!

how about the chris reeve professional soldier? oh i see the blade is 3.5inchs so may be too long. s35v stainless though pretty nice knife.

take it easy

I have looked at the CRK Professional Soldier and I do like it but it's a little pricey compared to everything else I've looked at. The Bravo Necker is awesome. How does that steel compare to S30V or 154CM? Thanks again all!

the s35v is supposed to be tougher, i have not noticed a bit of difference in use though in the couple different ones i have.

How does the 12C27 steel of the Bravo Necker compare to S30V or 154CM? I'm mostly concerned with rust resistance since it won't get used much and I sweat battery acid. :)

Blackjack makes a 154cm necker. 2.75 inch blade. You can also by scales for it.

Busse Kin knives are high carbon steel, which is why most come with some coating on the blade.

The Swamp Rat Warden and the Scrap Yard Scrapivore look awesome but I can't find many places that sell them and they don't come with sheaths. Also don't know much about the steel or how corrosion resistant it is. That blackjack is pretty sweet, think there is any way to cord wrap that handle???

Swamp Rat and Scrap Yard knives are either 52100 or 5160 steel. These are high carbon steels which have a lout of toughness, but do need maintenance to keep from rusting. A good wipe down and thin coat of oil after use and for storage is all you need to maintain it.

There's def a way to wrap the Blackjack. I love paracord wrapping. I figured out how Strider's wrap their knives, but I really don't know how to explain it. I'll post a pic of the wrapping. It's not hard to do either.

I found one that I really like, the Hinderer Flashpoint, but now I can't find one to buy! Just my luck!

NEW! Spyderco Mule Team 11 ~ MT11

M390 STEEL $75

You can do a paracord wrap or buy:

G-10 scales, pick your color for at Halpern Titanium $25.

I just found out about it today and these things sell out fast. The scale company has them that fit flush or that are slightly smaller and leave a slittle bit of steel protruding around them which is nice "look" too. They include the barrels and screws, etc. I mounted a set in just a couple of minutes.

Make yourself a semi-custom limited run 3 1/4" blade with M390 for a c-note. BTW, my last one came sharp as h*ll out of the box! Pic is for reference.
