ESEE Izula and RC-3 Custom Handles in G10

Just got G10 custom handles for ESEE Izula and RC-3, which ordered from one of our favorite internet sellers, and put them on blades. Immediate effect was stunning! Izula got very nice dress and RC-3 got full-sized handles. Total RC-3 new handles length is 4.5, while handle part accommodating a hand is about 4 2/8. Highly recommend.

I have a pair of those handles on my ESEE 4 and love them. Best decision I made next to buying the knife

Grippines of both handles is not so aggressive as that of Kershaw Avalanch, but better than grippines of the original Izula and RC-3 micarta handles – micarta ones are a little bit more slippery.

Sorry to resurrect an old thread. I'm looking to re-outfit my RC-3 MIL & RC-4 with these new grips. The ESEE handles are so short that they transfer the energy from cutting into the hand in such a way as to almost pop the knife out of my hand.

Anyone still loving these or any new opinions? My palm measures almost 3 3/4" across when open. Thanks! :thumbup:

My only problem with RC-3 was its short handle. Now I'm more than fine. My palm is hair more than 3 1/2" across, but new handle still has some space available. Now they have some more handle colors for Ixula, RC-3 and RC-4. I couldn't find any other options around.

Thanks Makh. I called Darrell and we discussed them and measured our hands on the phone. We both have the same grips width and he said they fit perfectly.

So, I ordered a set of the black G-10 slabs for my RC-3 and if they work out well, I'll order a kit for my RC-4. Beats having the knife shipped out and re-handled, or the alternative, which has been not using them.
