Esee Izula g10 scale fitment on a black oxide coating…

As the title says … ordered a set of factory coyote brown and a set of black ones. Both sets get very close but don’t snug up to the tang. Anyone else experience this ? Or on a SS model ? The reason I ask I wonder if not being coated is the the issue to make up the space ?
Any idea or conformation on this? Verified solutions ?
