Esee Izula II Kydex sheath with custom pocket clip ( that's right ) haha

Well I made a pocket clip for a sheath I just made for my Izula II.
The pocket clip came out freaking amazing and functions great. the retention on it is good. Not spyderco tight but it holds in the pocket real
I made it out of the scraps from the sheath so it is .080" in thickness. The shape of the pocket clip turned out awesome and it just so happened the piece of scrap had that taper shape to it so that was awesome.
Let me know what you guys think.

That did turn out AWESOME!

NICE JOB!!! I'm not quite sure why we don't see this on more sheaths! I would never use the belt loop on a knife that size, nor would I ever want such a small knife on my belt - this is far better than a belt loop for a knife of that size/stature! Would love to see a tip down variation for a quick draw.

Unfortunately, I would never be able to rock that clip in Cali, where it would make the fixed blade a CCW...
 
Now that is pretty darn nifty! :)

I was looking for this thread... it's official, I way over thought and way over engineered my clip design lol
 
Thanks bro. I am sure this blade would be ok to carry it this way because it is technically being carry it the open because once the blade is in the shaeth the blade and sheath become one. So It might work plus it is less then a 3" blade.
