Question says it all, I'm trying to decide which one will fill the role of a moderately sized EDC fixed blade. The price-point difference is negligible, I mean more for the intangibles, the "feel".

Thanks y'all!

I prefer an Izula without scales, with a cord-wrap, works like a charm for moderate EDC tasks.

I don't own the Boker but I have plenty of experience with the Izula. Here are my thoughts on the Boker. These look to me to be completely different knives. Not really comparable. The boker is heavier (3x), the blade is longer by almost an inch, and the overall length is longer as well. Another thing to consider with the boker is the finger groves in the handle. If they fit your hand, great. If they don't fit, well, you are stuck with them. Handling the boker would be best before purchase. So if you want a bigger, heavier blade get the boker. If you want a smaller fixed blade get the izula. I would get the Izula but I am biased as I already have one and love it!

The izula gives you more options for carry. You can get a pocket clip, belt clip, parcord wrap for various positions on belt. I believe the boker sheath only has one option (I could be wrong on that).

Just to add my two cents.........and I know this is an older thread.....but!! I just purchased both the regular Boker Coye Ridgeback and the Elite version....elite has smoke-wash blade and carbon fiber handles. With the elite, I purchased a Linos Kydex Sheath for scout carry. I actually carry fixed blades for work.....this one just disappears on the duty belt......it is small enough to not be noticeable, but large enough to do what is needed. I've owned both the Izula and the Boker.......my preference is the Ridgeback.

Agree with this 100%!
I also like my DPX HEST Original too, it's a nice knife no matter what ya think about RYP and Rowen is making them again..
I carry my HEST more than my Izzy..
