Well, I'm just posting this to show off my new Izula courtesy of Derek (link2derek).

This knife is amazing!
I've read many things but aproached with excepticism, now I'm impressed.

The size is smaller than I've imagined. But dare I say it's pretty perfect size? Fits my hand anyway, and feels well planted and ultralight.

The sheath is bulky and might trim it and cover it in leather or some sort of coloured kydex.

The edge? Maybe one of the sharpest I've found, and I have shaved some wood and its still perfect. LOVE the angle, LOVE the curve and the shape of the handle.

Paracord job is absolutely Ace! Seamless and uniform. But I need help! I took the skull out but can't figure how to put a new one in. I tried with a clip, some rope, maybe I need some sort of metal hook?
By the way , Derek was ultra fast and very nice, he added some skulls to better suit my taste or the mood of the day I use the Izzy :p

I love the skulls, the knife and, well, Thanks, I'll be using this little ant.

Unsheathing:

Congrats on the purchase!

The Izula is one of the smartest purchases I have ever made.

That's purdy. One of the smartest marketing strategies ever...color choices:D

Sweet natural patina!!! Love used knives, but some just get much better looking. Others mostly just scratch and chip.

Awesome looking knife, I love the pumpkin orange with the cord wrapped handle. Was this knife a limited forum knife or something because I think you just spent my money. :D Where can I buy one??

And red too! Holy shmokes I want. Where can a Canadian get one or two of these eh? Or three...uh oh....

I believe its the Knifeworks exclusive one and that 300 were made. Can someone correct me o this?

Anyway. This one was cordwrapped by the forum user Derek(Link2derek) as I mention in the first post.
You might find an orange Izula as a second hand without the paracord wrapping or with micarta semiscales or with another wrap and another color of wrap.

Or you can now buy an Izula II on knifeworks in the same orange.

Just saw your post, my friend -- I'm pleased that you are pleased!

To get a skull bead on the lanyard loop, try the following:

Remove the lanyard from the knife; take a 5-inch piece of floss (non-minty, or else your lanyard may take the odor) or a twist tie (the kind you use for bread bags); feed the floss/twistie through the loop on the lanyard; take both ends of the floss/twistie and feed them together through the bottom of the skull bead; then use a pair of needle-know pliers, grap the ends of the floss/twistie, and pull firmly until the lanyard loop pulls through the bead.

Hope that helps!

Nic Pix, BTW - very nice!

Cheers,

Derek . . .
