Nice comparison. I own both. I find that the Junglas is a little more comfortable in hand for my needs. The bird beak at the end of the Kodiak and the handle screw holes can be hot spots for me. I wish that the scales were canvas micarta instead of G10 as well.

Both will serve very well.
