ESEE Knives owners have formally changed the name and everyone in the knife business should call them by that name, not RAT out of respect. It wasn't a good idea to call Muhammad Ali, Cassius Clay either, after he formally chose to change his name. The ones who still referred to him as Cassius Clay were disrespectful and were competely clobbered in the ring. LOL. Joking aside though its just respectful to now call them ESEE Knives.

I don't see any disrespect by anyone in the knife business, where did you read this?

Old habits are hard to change especially when you're a RAT Pack member, not ESEE Pack. Jeff, Mike and crew I'm sure feels no disrespect.

I agree. Good choice on locking it.

To be blunt, if someone is only loyal to a "known" name instead of the product, especially when NOTHING has changed on our product, then they probably don't fit into the philosophy that we built our company around. Jeff Randall, Mike Perrin, RAT, etc is not about selling our name. We are about selling a quality product and backing it with the best custoemr servcie and warranty in the industry. If someone wants to leave our company because of a name change, then they have totally missed the boat on what we are about and probably need to find their knives elsewhere. This does not hurt our feelings at all.
