esee lite machete

I don't think it's out yet. Should be in not too long though. :)
 
I was interested in both the lite and the junglas.. im starting to worry more about an option to carry it.. a few of my favorite dealer seem to only offer the blade without any sheaths .. in that case, im kinda force to pass until i can carry it in the wood..

Did i missed something.. info..

I'm going to see if it will work in a condor leather sheath for el Salvador. I'm thinking it should. If it does, you can pick up just the sheath a few places.

I believe the kydex/ cordura refers to the junglas could be wrong.

Yes and yes. The ESEE Lite Machete should fit the Condor El Salvador sheath since they have the same blade, and the kydex/molle sheath is for the Junglas--not the Lite. The Lite comes with a nylon sheath. :)
 
Im lookng for a new machete also and would love for it to be from ESEE. Could anyone give me the ball park Price its going to run for ? I apologize if this was posted else where.

I cant remember the exact amount.
 
Does anyone know the difference in these steels. I was ready to pull the trigger on this Fehrman Final Judgement with CPM3V steel.

But I like the Junglas Survival knife a lot, it's about the same size for 1/2 the price and about the same weight.

I can't afford both so don't say "get 'em both".....so little money and so many knives to buy.

Help me!!! :D
 
Junglas is made of 1095 carbon steel - so they're not the same steel at all, but unless you live/plan to use the knife near the ocean, I doubt the difference between high carbon and stainless will be that noticeable, so long as you keep it clean/wipe the blade off before putting it in the sheath. which I do with my stainless blades as well)

I just placed an order for mine on knivesshipfree. I was browsing their site earlier and it was not there...then half an hour later...it was! :eek: Placed an order for one and two AH-1 arrowheads. Yeah Baby!

While not stainless, it is much more stain resistant than 1095. Also has much better edge retention but that makes it much harder to resharpen, especially in the field.
 
i just ordered 4 arrowheads and 1 light machete from KSF as well as some izula scales.
great to deal with.
 
Just got mine ordered.
I've been waiting impatiently for it to be available.
Now I got to wait for it to get here!
