ESEE Machete spotted on Discovery Channel's Dual Survival

I only caught a glimpse of it but I saw an ESEE Machete being used on the "Bogged Down" Episode of Dual Survival. You get a quick shot of the logo in the portion where they are making arrows.

They commented on how sharp it was as well when using it making a canoe.

I have that episode recorded somewhere, I thought I remembered seeing it on there as well. Don't remember them talking about it though.
 
It was only a passing comment about it like "this is nice and sharp" or something to that effect.

They put it through its paces when making that dug-out canoe.
 
Yep, Dave has the Lite Machete with his logo on it. Calling it the "Pathfinder Machete." For sale on his website. ESEE fire kit as well.
 
I love how the machete on his website says nothing about ESEE and their logo is blacked out... Nothing personal against dave but prolly a legal issue with discovery or something....

I think they worked this out around SHOT last year. Dave's logo is on the machete and the fire kit. I don't know what you call it, but Dave is/was getting these products from ESEE and licensing them with his logos.
 
esee can and does do runs of special items for other companys, all they have to do is change the logo on the lazer engraver. just like they will do special artwork knives for customers. like mil or leo organizations.

I am almost certain that the logo on the one in in the show is ESEE. The skull and crossed knives is hard to mistake.

No, you are correct on the one he used on the show. Sorry, got a little ahead of myself. I paused and blew it up when the episode first aired.
