I think Fiddleback forge, like ESEE machete, it’s made by Imacasa, like Condor ones.My go-to machete is a Fiddleback Forge 16 inch, which I like a lot. I don't think they are made in that length anymore.
It's 1075 steel, 0.1 inch stock, with a wide blade at the end, giving it a lot of power.
For me, a 12 inch blade would be too short. And the handle on the Darean lacks a footer to prevent slipping.
Lots of cheap machetes out there, but I liked the extra quality and leather sheath. The Darean looks like a quality blade.
