How often and what lube ect do you use on your EDC ESEE to prevent rust ect for the maintenance of your blade?

I gave my ESEE-5 tuf-glide and tuf-cloth 3 times since I got it a few months ago. And it's rusting away like a charm.
It's either inevitable or I'm too stupid to put on tuf-cloth. Either way, who cares... it's just some rust.

I wipe the blades with gun oil once every month or two months... no rust yet in Michigan.

I just clean them off and dry them after use

Any rust that forms on the edge gets stropped out, anywhere else and I remove it with Autosol polish.

I just whipe it down after use and see that rust is starting to form on the logo. Not that it bothers me to mutch. It is a worker. Maybe I should give it some slip 2000....

I wipe mine down with a Marine Tuf-Cloth, no problems with rust at all.

I always wipe my knives down after use with a rag with some Break Free CLP on it. Once they’re in the sheaths I don’t do any real routine inspections or anything but I guess they get used enough I don’t have to. No rust issues.

I really like Clenziol. It does a great job of cleaning and protecting. I t won't harm plastics and is actually recommended by Galco Leather because is will not harm leather.

About once every month or so I spray a little Rem Oil on a rag and wipe down all of my knives and firearms whether I have used them or not. And if I have used them I wipe them down before putting them away. It just takes a second and I have never had any problems.

All I do is give them a wipe with whatever oil is lying around after I use it to cut food or something that I feel might make it rust quickly. It's worked so far.

No rust here either. I'll rinse it in the sink if really dirty. But usually, I just wipe it down with a dry cloth.

I use canola oil if I prep food...just rinse with tap water and dab a little on the logo engravings and wipe off excess...dont worry much about the edge its always going through some wood building fires in the backyard:-)

I just wash mine when I am done with it and wipe on some CLP. I haven't had any problems with rust.

As long as they are used you shouldn't have much of a problem with rust, unless around a lot of water. Even then, it usually comes off in use.

Since I got my Junglas last year I have oiled it only twice, and there has only been minor rust on it. Come off with some chopping.

I just rinse the blade with water after I use it, then rub some olive oil on it. Not sure if its better or worse, but this is what my grampa used to do, so I do it. No problems so far anyway
