ESEE question.

I was browsing ESEE's website and found the ESEE 3 MIL and the ESEE 3....what is the difference? I'm not seeing it.

-Glass Breaker: the 3 mil has a breaker where the steel is exposed and not fully coated, also this one is more pointy.
-sheath: Mil contains every sheth options that ESEE offer \plastic sheath, molle back, boot clip, para cord and cord lock, pair of molle locks
It looks like the knives are the same--one has more accessories!

as far as I know it just means the materials used are off the militarys "approved" list of acceptable materials. whos military (prob Peruvian gov)and why it would be better than anything else Im not sure

This is it. The kit that comes with the 3 MIL knife is more complete than the 3. Modified (rounded) pommels are available as PM models in the regular series. The 3 MIL knives are also black coated only with green handle scales and OD sheaths. The regular 3s come in different color coatings and handle scales with tan sheaths. The knife profiles and materials are the same in both the regular and MIL designations.

As far as I can tell it is only the glass breaker pommel. Take a look at the knife connection. They list every iteration available so you can see the differences.
