ESEE RC-5 scale on a RC-6 ?

Hi,

I'm looking into purchasing a RC-6 but i love the RC-5 Scale with the Bow Drill Divot, so i was wondering if the scale of an RC-5 will fit on the RC-6? Looking at pictures they seem to be a match on the size.

The follow-up question would be is there a way to purchase only the scale if they do fit.

hi, i like the canvas scales from the 5 too, they fit just fine on the 6. best to get the scales from a 5 for a 6 is to buy both and swap them out.

Scales from the 5 fit on the 6 not 100% flush fit but do work ..... and you can not by the scales seperate, sorry
 
Common question and these guys are correct. Since the scales are fit by hand they don't sell them seperately.
 
or if you have access to a drill press, use a 1/2" twist bit to make your own bow drill divot in the scales that came on your 6. drill slow and before you turn the machine on, set the stop at 1/8" - 5/32" so you don't go all the way through the scale and ding the metal.
