This is my new belt carry survival system with a smaller knife, my RC3... I'll put my RC6 on my pack... and this is the one i'll carry in our survival hike on the 23rd... :D

Nice kit, does that feel awkward on your belt?

you know... i haven't tried this one on my belt yet... i had that pouch on my rc6 (i put up a thread about that) and it did feel a bit heavy and awkward some... this is why i switched it to my rc3... i'll carry my rc6 on my pack now...

this pouch is very nice (i did not mean it this way) because since it just goes over the sheath as a sleeve i can use the button from the sheath system back to hold it in place... so i can remove it really quick...

i am going hiking today with it... if i don't feel good then i'll just carry my pouch on my left and my rc3 on my right belt...

the reason why i made this pouch big like it is... was so it could hold more things in it, but it added more weight to it as well because of that...

i might try to make another one, but i bit smaller and used a altoids tin can and see how i like it...

another thing i can do is replace my flash light to a more compact one... the way it is setup right now, I can turn it on, and then point with it by moving my sheath around... :D

looks cool.. i have been wanting to pick up an RC-3 for awhile now..

they are really nice knives... small and very compact... and if you buy with the Molle back system, there are many ways you can carry it...

you can get one for 92 bucks shipped... pretty decent deal... and the warranty on these babies are awesome... they break, they give you a new one!!! :D :D :D

The pouch fits on a ESEE 4 sheath with just a bit of squeezing in, had mine there for a while. Tin fits inside without a problem still. Once it's on, it looks like it was meant to be there. I posted some pics of it if you care to do a search for them. For the 3 and HEST, you will need to use paracord to hold the bottom. Still works great.
