So, we've seen a Lite Machete in Dual Survival, an ESEE-4 in Man Woman Wild, and heard ESEE will be in the new Transformers.

I think I saw a Lite Machete sheathed to one of the main actors (Chris Redfield is his name in the movie) back at the end of Resident Evil: Afterlife. I saw it in IMAX 3D and it was pretty amazing. There was so much 3D content, the opening scene with rain even the raindrops were 3D, it looked like even some reflections had 3D information on them.

This is the clip I found with the best view of what I think is a Lite Machete:

This clip shows some of the raindrop scene:

In the future, you will see our knives in movies that Patrical Kilpatrick plays the bad guy in.

I'm thinking that's a standard issue Ontario machete. Same protrusion on the butt end, plastic handle.

It looks too perfect for an Ontario, but yea the handle is the same design...it looks molded on instead of riveted all crooked like the Ontarios.

Looks like a Ontario D-guard machete thats been modified.

I saw that Dave Canterbury is making the ESEE lite machete the official machete of the pathfinder school, really cool since Dave knows his gear. I did see the ESEE-4 on man woman wild.

Well either way it's gonna be interesting to see ESEE knives in movies

Also in Feb, 2011 a movie called "Battle Los Angeles" will have ESEE knives in it supposedly being used to dissect an alien.:)

Patrick Kilaptrick and his son are suppose to be attending our April Woodland Ops class. He's a coold dude and down to earth. He'll be a lot of fun in a survival class.
