the money right out of my bank account. Have an Izula 2, 3-mil, and ordered a 4 in desert tan today. I also made the mistake of letting my wife "borrow" the izula, and am having difficulty getting it back. "Oooh, I just need it for one more thing, babe" Yeah right. Probably have to order another for me.:)

I wonder how many views this post will get..

ESEE can be addictive.

Yeah, it seems most everyone on the ESEE forum has a great sense of humor, so I thought I'd throw a little something out there to see the reaction. I enjoy this forum so much I am actually gonna figure out how to post pics (Computers and me - oil and water) of my ESEE crew - and maybe a few of my BK2 in the Becker forum, as well.

I know what you mean. I've got the Izula, got a 6 on the way, and when I'm outside on a quiet night I can almost hear the wind softly saying "hoooooonglaaasssss"

Ok, ya got me Spot. Good one, I was headed to the exchange in anothe window, while this was opening. Faked me out.

Lemme know if you need help with the pics, I gotcha back.

Hey Moose, thanks for the backup (prob the wife can help me out w/ photos once I get the camera back) - oh, and thanks again for the sheath for that "other" knife - used it all day sunday(sheath and knife) and it was like having a 5th limb. Hmm, as a guy that sounds weird, but you know what I mean. Hopefully.:D

No worries, just holler if you need any help. Glad you like the sheath, that thicker leather is a bear to work with, but, that thing should last a century.

Good choice. I just got my DT ESEE4 in the mail today.

Now the question is.... a 5 or 6 next?

Dude how do you get your wife to love knives? Hehe! Wish mine was like that!

One, I am lucky I chose (or she chose) well - she is very comfortable with my hobbies, and shares a reasonable amount of interest in them. 2nd, when she asks me how many knives/guns I "need" I reply "The same number of boots you need." Gets the job done!

Funny you say that - when I showed it to my wife, her first comment was how our son will end up inheriting the sheath, +/- on the knife!

I'll admit, you got me just as good as Mike and Moose, I read the title and blazed right in! I'm glad to hear that you love your ESEE's as much as the rest of us. You really should just get it over with now and get your wife her own Izula.:D

5

Is the knife you want

I almost bit on a 5, but have a Becker BK2 already (I know they are not totally similar) and thought that most likely a 6 is in my future - I don't have any knives that big, but could still use it on my property like I am currently using the Becker. Do wish I could get a 6 with canvas micarta...
