Hello,
Curious of what you all feel about ESEE knives? Have you seen them at Gun and Knive shows?

Who? Never heard of them. :p

Serious answer: a general search will result in more threads than you have time to read. The short version? ESEE knives are fantastic products and worth the money they cost.

They are very well liked and well known and if you use the search function you will find many threads discussing them.

Great knives. I picked up the ESEE 4 that I had at a gun show in Florida for the same price that can be found online.

I don't care for the death fetish skulls that many models feature, but I really like the tan ESEE 4 that found it's way into my collection.

Fantastic knives from a fantastic company with a fantastic owner who offer a fantastic warranty. You simply cannot go wrong with an ESEE.

Love their Becker kitchen knives - bought a set for my sister.

Top notch stuff - great designs, great heat treat, great warranty. I was going to pull the trigger on a couple when I tried them in a lks and discovered the ergo's weren't the best for me - the handle scales feel a little slab-sided. If you handle one and like it, be secure in the knowledge that it won't let you down.

One of, if not the best warranties in the business (forever, transferable, no questions asked). I had a 5 but it was a bit too thick for me so I sold it. Now I have the Zancudo folder, an Izula, 4, 6, and Junglas. The 6 and Junglas go on all camping trips. Love em!

I have an Esse 4 and an Esse 6. They are two of my favorites. Great design, heat treat and warranty. Very rugged knives that will handle most anything you ask them to do. Some people find the flat-sided scales to be uncomfortable.

I have the 4 and Izula II. I am waiting on the Izula folder to hit the market as well. They make excellent products and I plan to keep giving them my business.

Welcome to the Forum! We have this amazing feature at the top right of the page where you can search what others have posted before! Simply type, "ESEE," hit "Search," and you'll have more info that you can digest.

But seriously, they're one of the most respected hard-use fixed blades in the world. (Other brands that are awesome too include Becker, Falkniven, Bark River, Condor, and Busse/Swamp Rat/Scrapyard.)

I met Jeff Randall at SMKW rep weekend last year, He gave me an IZULA! Great guys, great knives!

I only have one , a little izula , it is one tough , tough little knife . There is a reason they have a warranty as they do .
I suspect that I got one with substandard blade coating tho ... most the knives I see on the forums have pristine almost unused looking blades , where mine .. well either the coating is bad or I fail at caring for it properly ..

I've had the 4 and the Izulla 2 and both were great knives, tough, sharp and comfortable. I stripped them both but they would have worked fine with the coating as it is smooth. One of the best warranties in the business though I would have to ask what the hell you where doing to break it. They have a great variety of knives and they are all well designed, and if you don't like it, you can be certain you wont lose a lot of your money because there are plenty of people willing to take it off your hands. have fun, and let us know what you choose.
Paul

I think most of those pics are of unused blades...
