esee6 chopper or slicer?

both!
has a few inches of ice and snow sunday nite. decided to have a bit of a fire last nite.
took the esee6 out to chop a few 2x4s

while the fire was growing, came in to get some dinner ready. wouldn't normally slice my onions this thin, but wanted to see just how thin that puppy could slice. though id sharpened the 6 before chopping(you know why-its what knife knuts do) did not touch it after chopping three 2x4s in half

chops like the dickens, and slices equally well, stayed sharp all the way thru.
but the izula was the one to eat with...

yeah try to watch for treated lumber, glued(plywood) and paint. i dont wanna be breathing it, dont want the kids nor grandkids breathing it, dont want my neighbors breathing it. sometimes a piece goes unnoticed, but its telling in the smoke. have a nice long hayhook that can be used to snatch that stuff outta the fire if it does slip by me. thanks

You think that's bad?

Burn some fiberglass. Treated wood is a pleasant odor in comparison (but not nearly as hot).
