Ive had my ESEE6 for a whole year now and the sheath finally took a dump on me. Ive beaten it, battered it, and it finally broke last weekend when i got thrown off one of my spooky 2years old quarter horses. I had the knife situated on my right hip as always, and i landed right on my right hip. Along with some nice brusing i have a cracked sheath. Thankfully the knife stayed in the sheath and i wasnt stabbed. The sheath isnt a total loss, its only cracked down the front side of the sheath. The knife still goes in and stays in ok but i figure its time for a change. I guess theres always duct tape if i cant find a replacement.
That the knife stayed in the sheath and didnt get damaged really shows how tough the ESEE knives and sheaths are. Most other sheaths wouldove been much more damaged and i probably wouldove been stabbed if it wasnt for ESEE's superb quality.
I was just wondering if anyone had gotten a sheath made for there ESEE6 and by whom. Cost doesnt really matter, nore does material, as long as its quality that i can depend on im a happy camper. Pictures would be great! I will try and get some pictures of my bruised up hip and leg and of the sheath as soon as i can.
