I'm liking the new EsKaBar, nice size.

Unfortunately, the handle profile is SLIGHTLY different and the Izula handle scales won't fit without slight modification.

Sweet little blade.

Enjoy!

nice, any chace of a pic beside the original becker necker for comparision?
small modification for the handle scales huh, no problem.

Hey Shotty,

Good seeing you at the show.
You are correct. The Rowen Izula handles will not fit on the BK14 handle. The esteemed Mr. Becker wanted a bit more width on the handle struts and the opening is smaller than the Izula. When we were developing the BK14, the Izula Micarta handles were not out yet.
If one takes the Rowen Micarta handles and shaves down the edges with a file or exacto knife, they will fit. If there is a lot of teeth knashing and chest beating, we can change.

even though you ditched out on us for dinner friday.
LOL. Sorry Shotty,

I'd have really liked to be with y'all but business first. I also remember waaayyy too many hangovers from Jocks and Jills.

Best,

Oh, I gotta get one of these!! :D

One question, will these be available in any other colors than black coated?

price is $30 pre-order at Rocky National

Oh great, those tools don't ship to Canada. I guess they don't like making money or something.

This knife looks amazing though, the love child of the Bk11 and the Izula. A couple things I would like to see- Some jimping on the spine of the blade for thumb traction, a hole near the hilt for threading paracord when making a handle wrap (see original, Bk11) and maybe even make the whole thing juuuuust a wee bit larger for good measure. :D

I'm sure warriors and wonders will have them in stock when they are released.

You know what, screw everything I just said in that last post. Here's the knife to make- That same Becker-Necker Bk11 blade + the handles from the dpx HEST knife. Same sheath.

I rest my case! Actually no.. Case closed!
