I was being sized up for food in this pic. Damn things are out in force. This one dies shortly after landing on the ESKabar. Too much awesomeness in one place for such a small mosquito.

Ok, that's all the pics I got, no action shots. But I did carry them all day and show them off.

They are a huge improvement in grip size, and they feel good. I don't mind'em slick, actually prefer slick on my smaller knives.

Oh, and one other thing. Moose's tip of the day, don't stab your knives into things, its dangerous. No, I didn't cut myself or anything, but I saw alot of "knife stabs into the stumps" recently, and it got me to thinking. Either place your knife in a safe spot, or sheath it. Don't stab it into stumps. That is all.

Love these grips, and the craftsmanship is fantastic. Look him up, he does great work.

I'm glad they got to you safely. Your out door pics are much nicer than my indoor ones. I need to work less and get out more often. Thanks for the kind words. Enjoy!

They arrived safely, and promptly. And were put on immediately. Fantastic work, thank you a ton.

I half expected ya'll to be tellin' me that my blade was rusty, and in poor condition. I like it that way. I will say, over the BHG, the BK11 and BK14 were used far beyond any other knife there. We all had one or the other. Since my LMF Sporks broke (2 of them :(), my BK14 was my only tool. Worked great. I wish I would have had these there.

These are aluminum right - any anodization, clear coat, etc? I will be curious to see how they age / wear. I have a lot of polished motorcycle parts and in some cases kind of like a mildly oxidized, lightly scratched up Al part looks. If you want them to stay nice and shiny, mother's Al polish followed by a light coat of turtle wax - but has to be done somewhat regularly.

Yes, they're aluminum. No anodize on these they were just Scotch-Brited because I figured they would be Moose's user and it would be easier for him to re scotchbrite when they needed to. Beside, I've difficulty finding someone to do anodizing here in NV (may be state's regulation?). Turtle wax as a light coat is something new to me, I'll give it a try:cool:

You were correct. They have been carried, and will bear many scratches and dings. It seems such a shame to treat such good work that way, but hey, thats what they are for in my opinion. They will see much carry and use. I haven't even so much as touched my Izula since I got them. :D

They look real nice Moose. I need myself a pair with a polecat engraving on them. Good work Sh@rp
Hey, I'm glad to hear from you! Without you we wouldn't have these Eskabar now. If you're interested, I'd give you discount for a set. Please let me know. Thanks, man.

Thanks for the offer Sh@rp. Appreciate it. Ill be in touch with you.

how do they feel when they get wet? do they have a good grip?

Good enough, hugh. I haven't found anything that would bother ME, but others may vary. I think that grivory is enough grip for me, and that the aluminum is just fine, if I find myself putting that much pressure on a 3" knife, I might wanna rethink what I was doing:D
