Seems Mother Nature is not finished with us. So, it snowed and we are in a state of emergency. What to do... what to do.

Saturday, it was 47 degrees, all the snow melted. Sunday at noon, temp dropped from a
high of 45 degrees to 27. Then the rain turned into snow.

I know what I'll do, after shoveling, I'll put an IZULA handle on an Eskabar. Ah, but it is
not a perfect fit. The Eskabar handle is a little thicker so it is going to take a little ADJ'ing.
After about 15 minutes of shaving down the spacer on the inside of the handles, voila...Eskabar handles.

Now we have the perfect Jimping candidate. Let the jimping begin.

Sure would love to carry this on my belt.
Two holes later and a TekLok and bingo.

That my friends is how to spend a snowy day. I have a BK10 and 7 on the way. Let's hope for more snow.

Who am I kidding. I don't need a weather excuse to monkey with my knives.
I'll work on them any day of the week ending in "y".

Looks damn good Tom. Did you use a triangle file for the jimping?

Thanks Adam. The jimping is well-guarded secret going back countless generations in my family. I come from a long line of jimpers. Back in the days of the Romans we were known as jimperous maximuses. We even celebrate the Ides of March because it was a properly jimped blade that did Caesar in.

Checkering file? I know not of what you speak. Each jimp is hand cut with a diamond encrusted jewelers file held at a 36 1/2 degree angle.

Okay, that is a load of crap. I got it at Jantz Supply.

I would start with midway or brownells...

We probably need to sticky a jimping post somewhere, as people ask every time he posts a knife.

I am sure we could put it in the FAQ, thereby giving bladite another reason to promote search and reading of said document...

Interesting, as my Roman ancestors grew cabbages and were known as Farticus Maximuses. Sweet mods buddy.
