Welcome to the Becker Forums, lotta good people here!!

Welcome to the Becker forum, and Bladeforums, we are glad you are here.

Nice BK14, it is my favorite EDC fixed blade. I've used mine hard, and it is still a beast for a small knife. I am really amazed everytime I tackle jobs that would normally be outside the range of a "Neck" Knife. Good choice. Thanks for buying Becker.

Hey! Thanks all!!
Yes it's shiny and new.. but my plan is to put it to some hard times soon.. I'll get back with a report later!
I wasn't to impressed with the edge "out of the box" so I worked my Lansky sharpening set and now it's SCARY SHARP!!

Shoulda gotten an izula.....

Just kidding =)

I have 2 izulas, and I think the eskabar or the bk11 will be next!

awesome!

welcome to the forum!

why wait until spring? I use my BK14 here in BC canada in the winter!

:)

Thanks for getting an Esky.....It is THE knife I NEVER leave the pavement without.......It or it's not quite identical twin, the Necker are knives I use virtually every day......I really hope you enjoy using it and using it hard........

Welcome to BF! You ought to get out in the woods as soon as possible! Remember theres no such thing as bad weather, only bad clothing!

Im planning a winter trip to Sweden too...Maybe the area around Immeln or to Svartedalen. Id prefer Glasskogen, but its pretty far up north and at night its like -22 celsius. I dont think my sleeping bag can handle that

Winter nights are horrible... Brrrrrrrr
If you plan to live outdoors you really need to get the right gear and some back up plans... Or it may be your last trip.

I was thinking about something like a daytrip just grill some hotdogs or something...
