OK so i was lookin at my brand new eskabar today and found yet another issue... The grind of the tip is horribly lopsided. The tip almost looks like a chisel grind. The left side of the knife is much steeper than the right
I love the overall design of the knife but so far its the worst quality knife i have ever had. I would think that with esee stamped on the blade it would be better quality than the bk11 but i guess not. So far the sheath is terrible and rattles like crazy. The blade coating and overall grind of the knife is uneven and now the tip. :thumbdn::thumbdn::thumbdn: Sorry but for a usa made knife they have dropped the ball.

Sorry for the problems. I would suggest you contact KaBar with this since they do all the manufacturing. The only role we have in it is the handle design.

it's still a ka-bar/becker knife, so why would you expect better quality than another ka-bar made becker?

sounds like it needs a good sharpening. i remember reading in the becker forum that they are working on the sheath issue.

Sorry to hear that you're dissatisfied with your Eskabar. Actually, you're posting in the wrong forum. As Jeff said, KA-BAR does all the manufacturing on these, so the best place to post is in the Becker forum ( http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=827 ). I have no doubt that either Ethan or Toooj will see your post there and set things right.

Best,

Bob
