Call it a gift to myself, but I finally get my shot at the Becker Brotherhood. :)

Can't wait- I'd love to put it through its paces.

It's the one knife that goes everywhere with me. Totally replaced my benchmade griptillian, which I don't carry while sleeping.

Look at sh@rp's thread. He makes pretty nice stuff. MyWifeThinksImCrazy made micarta slabs for his, and you can always get the Izula micarta, trim them down a little bit and they'll fit.

Shoot yeah, love that ESKabar. Tough blade for sure and a good size for almost all knife chores out there. With that little guy, and a baton, you can do some real heavy lifting in the woods, or if you're like me, open a ton of cardboard boxes and render it ready for the compactor.

There are some folks that have made handles for it, I like the parawrap on mine, it keeps a thin profile, but gives you good purchase on the handle. If you load the middle with a small firesteel when you wrap it, you get a thicker grip. Just a thought.

Good choice, look forward to seeing the pics. :D

Moose

im with moose, i like the para cord on mine, and i got mine maybe a month ago and its great for edc and whatever else you would want to do.

Great knife . Last week - campsite bbq with it , choppin' wood etc. , yesterday - minced full garlic bulb with it for the chicken marinade . It gave the edge a nice blueish patina . The paracord smells now a bit like garlic somehow .
