After recieving these awesome scales from Clich (thanks again man! 100% catfish free as promised), I decided to put a little more work into my Esky.
I started by cleaning up my jimping I cut into the back of the blade and ended up sanding down the entire spine and handle area, removing all the tool marks and giving a nice finished look all the way around. I also rounded the back of the blade a little to give it a little different look.
After that I applied a new mustard patina and slapped the scales on and VIOLA! A Eskabar I can be proud of!
Now will be working on a short lanyard of some sort or another and a leather sheath for a more comfortable carry.
Thanks again Clich for the awesome scales! It totally changed the way the handle sits in the hand. I cant wait to put some real use into it!
