Loves me some ESKabar. One of the best EDC knives I have ever owned. Not much this tough blade can't tackle. From cutting boxes to cutting out bowdrill kits, it will do it all.

Great choice, Bigfoot, couldn't have chose better myself:D

I actually had a civilian refer to my EsKabar as a "combat dagger" today and ask me why I carry it. I always ask people like that whether they're seriously asking me what a knife is used for.

So, have fun with your combat dagger, it's pretty much the finest blade I've ever had. Not that I've had a lot of quality knives, in fact my EsKabar was and still is my first "quality" knife. But still, it's one of the best knives I've ever handled and used in the outside. This little bastard can really take a serious beating and just shrug it off.

have fun & take care

My eskabar will be here tomorrow. Will the Izula scales fit the eskie handle?
They will with some trimming of the liners or you can opt to remove the liners altogether. I chose to remove them and have not had any issues.

Hey Sasquatch.....

Methinks you will enjoy your Eskabar.......For a tool that weighs less than three ounces it really is incredibly versatile and useful......For an edc that is very low profile it will certainly give you a huge leg up on almost all field crafty stuff.....Have fun and post pics.......

All Best

You'll love it. It's tough enough to handle big tasks, but small enough to carry in your pocket. The Eskabar is an epic knife.

I removed the coating from the blade, but other than that. I love it the way it is. I even went back to the thicker black factory cord as it is better than the scrawny para cord that I used for a while.
