Hi Everybody,

Here is something very cool. I just got done making this.

A Exposed Spine Sheath for the Killa Zilla.

1st I would like to thank Barb & Chuck for letting me use theirs, well I did not use thiers because Sunday after they left theirs with me I caved & got my own, I just could not let this beautiful hunk of INFI pass me by. SO thank you very much my good friends, you have no idea how much it meant to me, your act of generosity & friendship.

When I first heard of this knife coming out I knew this would be the perfect sheath for the knife. The general feeling at the show was the same so after much waiting & a long day of working it out, this is what I came up with, hope you all like it.

I also got permission to show this on the forum from the powers that be at the show. Thanks Boss & Under boss

Works perfect even if I do say so myself.

you can carry strong side & cross draw.

also if you feel like it, you can use a length of Para-cord to lock it in through the talon hole on the knife & the matching holes in the sheath. ( I have done this since I started making sheaths for Busse's back in 1999) I would recommend it if you are going Indiana Jones style through the Bushes.

Enjoy Everybody.

cool sheath dave
these "one side open" sheath make sense when you carry bigger knives.
my old ka bar machete´s sheath is made like this but not from kydex.

Awesome work - I really dig the exposed spine M9LE sheath I picked up from you at BLADE. I've always loved that design of sheath since I got the same style with my Cold Steel LTC Kukri years ago. Very functional design and easy to clean to boot.

Really nice work, David! And you solved the mystery for me of how this one would best be carried! Sweet!

killer stuff!!!i see you also made up a sheath for the vex,i gotta get one of those from you!!

Wow, that's REALLY nice, perfect for that blade.

Can you add a drop leg attachment to it?

WOW not only is that the coolest sheath i've seen but that knife is the baddest busse i've ever seen. hope i get a chance to own one.

Dave,

Great work. Nice "little" sheaths for the Vex and Yard Knife as well.

nice sheath......looks pretty sweet!!! Now all I need is the zilla!!!

Are we sure this does not violate the, "no one who didn't go to Blade, purchase, and sign an agreement IN BLOOD can see what this blade looks like" policy?

Looks great David!

What do you use for the strap? Hypalon?

Boiler gasket material, nylon in rubber.

I made the straps, I have taught myself how to make them since I had to make them for all those Hawk sheaths. :D  :D
