yea and it was its first cut. i was going to go out and do some cutting with it today, got started putting a lanyard on the butt of the knife and started by leaving it in the sheath. so of course part way threw i slid it out of the sheath and wellllll. spent the next 10-15 mins lookin for bandaids.

anyway wasnt really too awful bad. like any sharp knife cut it barely hurt. till i poured the peroxide on it. this happened of course 2 days after i jumped on a newb for cutting himself on his new knife. so i guess it was karma:rolleyes:

on the plus side i did try out my condor hudson bay. spent 30 mins outside hackin branches off a tree. cutting up some sticks.(to do some finish work on with the esse) and getting a general feel for it. it chops very well. for not being to awful sharp out of the box, which it wasnt, shame on condor, but it faired well loping off branches with ease. 18 deg out so i didnt try any batoning or much else. want to try that and maybe some with the esse and compile a review and maybe throw in a couple of comparisons.

Definitely a dangerous knife. I suggest mailing it to me immediately to avoid further pain and suffering ! :D

Once it has tasted human blood nothing else will satisfy its sinister cravings. Send it this way just to be on the safe side. . .

lol i had already cleaned it and wiped it of once before this shot, has peroxide on it in the pic. yea i think ill give it one more chance to behave before i send it away lol

I've got about a 18 degree/side polished edge on my esee-6, and after I finish cutting I always check myself for blood. When that 1095 gets you, you don't always feel it...
