Even though I've been told that the only dumb question is the one you don't ask, I feel like I should know the answer to this and couldn't find it through a search:

What is the difference between the Iszula and Iszula II?

Bigger handle and the scales cover the whole knife and they come with the knife unlike the Izula which you have to buy the scales seperately. And when you buy the scales for the Izula its about the same amount of money as the Izula II. So if you are not going to have scales on yours or paracord wrap it buy the Izula but if you want scales and I tiny bit bigger handle then just buy the Izula II. Hope that helped. :smug:

And heres a pic of the Izula on the left and Izula II on the right

Yep handle is 1/2 an inch longer I think, don't quote me on the exact measurements, and the 2 comes with the micarta handle. Knifeworks has an orange version of both that I love!

I think if I were to do it over again I would either buy the Izula II or the RC3. I love my Izula, but it's just a tad small. Now if you needed a knife of that size, I don't think you can beat it.

The Izula is 6 1/4" long while the Izula II is 6 3/4" long . The blades are the exact same , the difference in lenght is all in the handle . The handle holes are the same size and as the photo above shows , the Izula II comes with the micarta scales on it . There are scales for the Izula that can be bought as well .

HOLD MY BEER AND WATCH THIS !

They need to make an Eskabar 2 with the Becker Necker blade but the Izula 2 handle. How sweet would that be ?!

Just like that!! Simple, eh?

Thanks to all who responded to this. All I have to do now is decide: scales or skells?

Your replies are appreciated.

Get whatever you like, you are the one that will shell out the money for it and use it. If you buy scales you can remove them at your leisure. Don't be indecisive. ;)

At one time I had them both, sold the Izula because the Izula II was so much better, one of the best knives I have to date, in fact planning on getting a OD version as soon as I can.

I'd say that too, but I do not care that much;)

Considering the price of these things and the resale values...get them both and re-sell the one you like least;)

Yep, I will probably eventually end up buying both. Between you guys and the voices in my head, this seems like the way to go.

Thanks again for the input.
