I bought these Ducks Unlimited knives today at an estate auction. Thought I would share some pictures of my find. All are in mint condition. The 2 on the left are Schrade USA.

Beauty! I have a soft spot in my heart for ducks, largely because we have been taking care of successive generations of Mallards for about 10 years.

You are very fortunate to have such a great collection.

Nice find Eric!

I love the piggy back sheath set! Also that top one, the skinner? Thanks for the pics!

What pattern is the top knife? The tang just says BUCK over CUSTOM. The double sheath is for the 102 and 501 and the other knife is a 703. I missed about 4 more Buck knives at that auction. They had a real sweet 110 and 503 or 501 in a set. The 110 had gold etched blade and 3 dot stamp if I remember correctly. I think I stopped my bidding at $110.00 for them.

Eric, Great find . Thanks for posting the photos . Plumber, here is the set that fits your sheath . DM

Looks like the piggyback set was indeed for some type of a raffle? Would you mind posting the rest of the text that's on the poster/box top? I recently bought this set, although mine is missing the two folders.

The top knife is a 914. I have one of those and they are nice, The sheath with mine is stamped 191 on the back, is yours? I don't have a 191 but I tried a 691 in it and it fits but is a little sloopy in there.

Arks, On the top knife's pattern : The first company to patent the use of that pattern was Marble's Knives back in 1916 and in use about a year prior, named the Woodcraft model . It became a very popular pattern and many knife companies copied it . Remington, Pal, Case, Kinfolks and Western just to name a few . Hope this helps . DM

Ark, An interesting note on the Ducks Unlimited etched series ; prior to 1990 they were done by Aurum Ecthings in Garland, TX. and the first drawings, setting and castings were returned several times . Because, the Ducks Unlimited personnel said the birds weren't right . So, changes were made and resubmitted . On one occasion DU personnel informed Aurum that on this bird there were only three feathers and it should be five ...
These were the most time consuming etches to be brought to production . Enjoy your knives . DM

The top knife looks like a Western Westmark 703, as Dave Martin said it is a copied model.
