recently had a friend go to an estate sale. He called me and told me of knives that were for sale. Went to the sale and picked up three knives.
The first one was a Craftsman 9560 with tang intact. it has a good lock for the blade that can double as a screwdriver although this blade does have some pitting. Handle is in good shape too.
The second knife is a Schraded 180T with "Complements of Schrade Cutlery 1986" on the blade. It is in very good shape with no pitting at all.
The third knife (I looked for a Case Forum and found none) is a Case Hammerhead Sportsman's Lock Blade with sheath and box. Box is in good shape albeit no papers and knive shows no wear.
Was wondering if I made good finds or just regular run of the mill things? Can't post photos but i could probably email some to an interested party.

I feel the question should be on your lap! How do you feel about your purchases? It's been my expierience that finding that rare, highly sought after knife, which just so happens to be in mint condition, is truly the exception and not the rule. Personally, were it me and I picked up those 3 knives in the condition as you stated, I would be happy as a lark. They may not be the Holy Grail of knives but I would think you did quite well. You examined each of those knives before you put your money on the table, so I would say you felt good about what you were buying. Good score! Dale H.
