I picked up an axe at an estate sale for 3.00.
It is a single bit with a 24 inch handle. It is plum colored and has Genuine Norlund stamped on it. The N is double lined. There is orange tape on the top. Any ideas as to when it was manufactured? Maybe a ballpark value? Thanks!

You'll need to purchase an appropriate membership level to ask valuation questions, but eBay will give you an idea. The brand was produced by Mann and was formed in 1968, discontinued roughly 1986. They're fairly low grade axes by historical standard, having been marketed mostly at campers, but modern celebrity survival personalities have hyped the brand up to the point where they often fetch prices disproportionate to their actual rarity and quality.
