Esteem Grinder Spring

I have an Esteem grinder made by Brett Matthews. Not sure if he's still in the business.
I've lost the compression spring that keeps tension on the belt and need a replacement Anyone have the specs on that or know where I can get a replacement?

I would take this an an opportunity to retrofit it with a 40lb gas spring. I get mine from McMaster Carr.

McMaster Carr is a good source. Put "compression spring" in the search, enter the dimensions of your spring to help find several.

Some folks like the gas spring, other folks not so much. I've used both gas and compression springs. Not really sure I see a big advantage of one over the other. I'm using compression spring at this time.
