Estimating interest in mobile apps

Because there are several mobile platforms I can develops apps for, I am trying to estimate user base, so what do you use...
Android included phones and tablets, iOS includes all, ipad and iphone and ipod touch.

I am doing my best to keep web versions feature rich and easy to use(with not so great success I have to admit).

I have a Kyocero Echo...on android...and...it...ROCKS! Dual 3.5" screens that combine to make one big one is just brilliant. This phone is so freakin' awesome. The metal detector works GREAT! The Google goggles makes understanding what something is very easy...
