has any one bought one and what do you think of it ?
also wondering if any one bought one in canada I am having trouble finding them here in ontario thanks

I've got one. It came about three weeks ago and I've not yet got to take it out and play with it. It came fairly sharp, not shaving sharp but it will chop OK sharp. I like stacked leather, it's a favorite of mine. I think this will be the 6th or 7th Estwing axe, hatchet or hammer for me.

Get one, for $40 bucks or so you'll like it.

I was sent one and asked for my opinion. I hated it right out of the box, but once I sharpened it, it chopped liked a banshee, totally surprised. I'm going to pit it against my GB Small Forest Axe and see what happens as soon as I get some time.

I got the chance to handle both of these today at a local blacksmith's shop. The DB wasn't too bad, I'd prefer to see a little less curve in the bit. But with a proper sharpening it could be a decent little chopper.

I really didn't like the tomahawk. I think the hole in the blade sucks. It just weakens the whole thing for no reason other than marketing - I guess it's supposed to look badass. And the ridge on the spike is just stupid. It's gonna get hung up on stuff real bad. Punch it into sheet metal and have fun getting it back out.

I may pick up a double bit somewhere down the line, looks like a fun thrower/beater.
