A client, sent me this original Rio grand Camp Knife
to re-handle in Indian Stag because it was re-handled by someone in the past that messed it up, so anyway
I cut myself working it , not with the knife but on the edge of a 30 micron belt Ouch!

so I have to get the steel finish back to it's old self (old) so why not use what I have,, my own DNA
hey nothing should go to waste right? I've used blood before but normally it's not My own ;) :)

whose blood you been using other than yours, Dan!....?

:p

That reminds me of the bronze age ice man ( Otzi ?) they found he died of an arrow in the back. So they did a forensic study and found that his knife had blood on it but DNA studies showed that it was not his blood but that of two others !

it's good and red anyway.. :)
that's why I get to eat steak every so often Dan it's the blood I'm after :p

Mete he probably stabbed, jabbed and ran  just not fast enough .. :(

Dan, they just showed that program again on Discovery last night. On his clothing and knife there was blood of four different people !!!! Ah , the old days , when you could do real tests with your knife !!

Dan, we don't want to read your local headlines,"Local Man Receives Transfusion" because you decide to do a deep etch on the large blade! That hadda hurt! It must have been one of those WOW WOW WOW belt burns, mixed with some other blue words. You run out of good shop words for belt burns, I have some you can use.

Mete and the bows too :)
John I just healed my thumb up from a scalpel cut
it didn't burn much it was a good clean cut no cauterizing at all :(
the ole back hurts worst,
so I don't pay much mind to the little ones :)
needed to give blood anyway :p
