Has anyone here ever etched or machined their own custom graphic on a Sebenza? I have a small Sebenza and its plain sides seem to call out for some customization. I know that CRK sells "unique" graphics and Lisa's Picks, but has anybody outside of CRK done this in your basement?

for whatever reason, altering the finish on the seb voids the warranty. I thinkg It's BS too. Don't get me wrong... I love dealing with CRK (Bridget ROCKS!), I just happen to believe that something like you've mentioned should not harm the function of the knife. Then again.. there are some REAL idiots out there... WHO KNOWS what theyve recieved construed as "Warranty Repair."

If you ever find out how, tell me as I also have a small sebbie I want to decorate.

You do know that CRK will accomodate just about any idea you have. Just recently a guy here sent them a drawing he had done, and requested it be put on his Sebbie. They programmed the drawing in the CNC machine, and the rest is history. He really enjoys his "custom, one-of-a-kind" Sebenza. You should give that a try. I'm sure they wouldn't charge an arm and a leg to do it.

Mike
