Etching logos

Hi all

I have a question on etching logos. I've done several hundred now with the etch-o-matic and I'm just not happy with the consistency or the quality of the results. I'd like to try acid etch, perhaps as described in "How to Make Knives" (which I gave away to a friend last year).

Could anyone put me on the road to suppliers, instructions, information etc?

I've never used the etch-o-matics, but have a smaller/simpler machine that I got from Ron Claiborne that yeilds very good and consistent results. He builds these on request and can be reached at bowie@icx.net i believe.

Thanks for the info Steve. I'd really like to try acid etch but if I can't get any info, I just may give Ron a call.
