Yes, anyone with the skills can build an etcher. Many don't have the skills and safety is an issue. That is why many buy a good quality plug-and-play unit like the Personalizer plus.

Millenials don't want to understand HOW things work.
They just want to buy something that does all the work for them.

I don't understand why you felt the need to inject yourself in the situation that was over already but I'm going to set this straight.

If literally anyone else would have suggested in that thread how to make a etching machine, I'd thank them for the information and participation in my thread and move on. Simply put I don't care what Natlek say's or does, I'm not going to respond nicely because I've seen his long argumentative trolling history here and the results of it. I've made my opinion of him known and now I'm going to ignore him and report him every time he trolls anyone, since the moderation staff continues to tolerate him.

That's all it is I simply don't like him, and it really doesn't matter what he does nothing will change my opinion of him. I don't understand why you felt the need to make ignorant and uninformed statements toward me or anyone else who participated in that thread who decided to "waste" their money on equipment. I'll give you the benefit of the doubt, maybe you're having a bad day and you just felt like taking it out on me and other millennials.

If that explanation changes your opinion of the situation, good maybe we'll be able to talk like rational people. If it doesn't, no great loss to me.

I said something because I saw someone (who's native language is not English, BTW) trying to offer help.
Your treatment of him was both crude and unfair.

Yep, too often folks tend to paint with too broad a brush stroke when talking about groups of folks. AND, please do remember, these millennials didn't have the advantages of us old folks in growing. Too many (not all) millennials were burdened with parents who tried to do everything for them, solve all the problems of growing up. If a child doesn't learn to deal with small problems when a child, how can they be expected to deal with large problems after they're grown?

Too many "helicopter" and "lawnmower" parents, and not enough "Tiger Moms". There does need to be a balance between the two extremes.

Bill,

If you have a problem with me or what I’ve said just be straight with me about it. You insulted a lot of other people in the process of trying to insult me personally.

As far me insulting Natlek, it has nothing to do with his native and second language. It has everything to do with his past and the intent in his posts.

I’m not going to apologize to Natlek. I have absolutely no remorse in treating some one who purposefully incite others constantly that way. I won’t respond or speak to him again only to keep from being banned from the forum.

GTFO of my thread then...........................

Fellows:

Nattlek - You did nothing wrong here. I apologize for the rude way you were treated in this thread.
Ocelot85 - I sent you a warning - I would advise you to heed it. If you don't like Natlex, hit the ignore button and done reply at all.
Bill - Thanks for trying to calm the situation.

I will lock this thread and ask Natlek to re-post it if he wishes. I assure him there will be better conduct next time.
