Hi guys, I got a personalizer plus electro chemical etcher for Christmas (go me!) and I am having trouble finding a place that can make the templates for it. I have a project that is coming due and I would like this knife to be the very first with my personal stanp on it. Can a nyone suggest someone that makes good templates that won't ask for my firstborn child for it? I figured that this time, instead of trial and error and learning by mistake I would actually ask the experts first. I appreciate anyone's help who can give it as well as any pointers for the use/care of the machine and it's parts. Thanks a ton guys!

In that case..... I'll get some made right away. I appreciate the help with a maker now, is there anything in the way of pointers for using, maintaining and placing the templates that I should know?

+1 for Ernie!

Easy to work with and makes a great stencil.

Keep the stencils out of the light when not in use, rinse off after using. For placement, decide where you want it on the knife, tape in place making sure it is flat to the surface, and etch.

+2 for Ernie, I already have my stencil but am still waiting on the etcher, he is fast and did a great job.

Ernie all the way, and I've used TUS as well, but I prefer Ernie's service. He's very easy to work with.

One tip for etching.......before etching clean and rinse your stencil off then don't touch the area with the graphic while taping it to your blade. I've found that the oil from your hands can interfere with the quality of the etch.

+6? for ernie :D Ordered mine last week, too bad they will be here before I actually have an etcher lol

How do the centers of letters like "O" stay in place? I assume the stencils are perforated, rather than cut out?
Will these stencils work for acid etching, too? Thanks!
