I hate to admit it, but I’m starting to fall for Ethan’s belief in a trio of knives to cover ones needs! He recommended the BK-9, BK-11, & BK-16 as the three in an interview available on youtube. I’m finding the BK-14, BK-16 and BK-9 are doing what I need together!

I recently got a hold of a BK-16 and am wondering why I never tried one before! It’s an ideal size and fits my hand perfectly! I am finding it does more for me the more I use it. I reach for this blade almost exclusively currently.

The BK-14 is easier to have on me as it fits in a pocket or gets carried as a neck knife. Hence, it gets grabbed when the BK-16 isn’t with me.

The BK-9 does all the heavy work and chopping.

I really am liking this trio!

I wonder if he'd substitute a 62 for the 16 if he was picking his trio today?
Campfire questions.
Great question

I like em both :) I like the 16 a little more for its pocket friendly carry. But I’ve wondered that same ? cause I know he seems to like both very much :thumbsup:

That's an interesting question indeed...personally, I probably will go with 62, slightly longer, lighter and more nimble in hand.
